I hope this note finds you well.
I know it's been a long time since I've updated my website and I'm sure some folks are wondering what happened. I don't want to go into to much detail but, several years ago, I started experiencing problems with my arms. I found myself not only unable to draw, but even to do the most basic of tasks. It has been a long road to recovery and, even though I am now able to draw again, I find I must be cautious and not overtax myself.
I am still dedicated to my craft; however, not only must I work at a less aggressive pace, this has forced me to explore alternate media that is less stressful on my arms. Unfortunately, one of the casualties of this process has been my work with colored pencil on canvas. Between the tooth & flex in the canvas and the pressure required to deposit the pencil, this was a very strenuous art form. As they say, when one door closes, another one opens. On the positive side, this will help encourage me to express myself by exploring new forms and media.
Wishing you all the best!
